The "Traditional Chinese Medicine Innovation City" is located in the directly managed area of Ganjiang New District, adjacent to Changbei International Airport. The regional planning scope is 15 square kilometers, of which the starting area is planned to be 4.5 square kilometers. According to the plan, the area will be built into a "one center, five zones" (i.e. Traditional Chinese Medicine Innovation Center, Innovation Driven Pilot Zone, High end Talent Agglomeration Zone, Industrial Development Leading Zone, Cultural Exchange and Inheritance Model Zone, and Healthy and Smart New City Zone). The China (Nanchang) Traditional Chinese Medicine Innovation City has laid out the entire chain of traditional Chinese medicine cultivation, research and development, production, and equipment manufacturing, focusing on the construction of "national level" innovation platforms such as the Ganjiang Traditional Chinese Medicine Innovation Center, the Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine Health Industry of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and the National Traditional Chinese Medicine Resources and Manufacturing Technology Innovation Center. It is committed to creating a product composite, one-stop production and research platform, open public service supporting facilities, park style research and development environment, and a high standard, high starting point scientific research park.
