Jiangzhong News (Correspondent Mei Lin) On December 9, the Ministry of Education's Center for Language Education and Cooperation 2022 Chinese Bridge “Hundred Rivers Converge, Achieving the Beauty of Benevolence” SCO Countries Youth Chinese + TCM Culture Online Exchange Project, hosted by our university, officially concluded. The head of the university's International Education College, all project team teachers, and over 160 young participants from SCO countries such as Kazakhstan and Pakistan attended the online closing ceremony.
At the closing ceremony, the head of the International Education College read the decision to commend outstanding Chinese Bridge organizers and participants, with 5 teachers including Gu Lijia and 37 students including Daliya receiving honors as outstanding organizers and participants, respectively. Saule Anuar, Vice Principal of International Kazakh-Chinese Language College, and Waqas Arshad, Director of Pakistan AI-Hankao International Study & Exam Center, delivered speeches expressing gratitude to the Ministry of Education's Center for Language Education and Cooperation and Jiangxi University of Chinese Medicine for hosting this Chinese Bridge event, which effectively stimulated young participants’ enthusiasm for learning Chinese and Chinese culture, and enhanced exchange and friendship among youth from SCO countries.
An outstanding participant representative from Kazakhstan stated at the closing ceremony that they thank Chinese Bridge for presenting wonderful courses, providing opportunities to learn Chinese and experience Chinese culture more deeply, especially TCM culture, sparking strong interest in TCM, and expressed that they must find opportunities to come to China to personally experience Chinese culture, learn TCM knowledge, and benefit their own people.
The course teachers of this project sent affectionate messages to the young participants via video, hoping that the students live up to their youth, continue to study Chinese and Chinese culture diligently, and contribute youthful strength to Sino-foreign cultural exchange and mutual learning.
This Chinese Bridge online exchange project received attention and widespread coverage from numerous media, including the official Weibo of the GNFCC SCO, Jiangxi Foreign Affairs, Jiangxi News, and Jiangxi Education Network.
