Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Shandong University of TCM was originally Shandong Medical College of TCM, founded in 1958, one of the early TCM higher education institutions in New China. In 1978, it was designated a national key TCM institution, gained master's degree authorization in 1978, became a Shandong provincial key university in 1981, gained doctoral authorization in 1986, and was renamed Shandong University of TCM in 1996. In 2007, the main campus moved to Changqing District, Bian Que's hometown


Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Tianjin University of TCM was founded in 1958 (originally Tianjin Medical College of TCM). In 2020, it became a co-built institution by Tianjin Municipal Government, Ministry of Education, and National Administration of TCM; in 2017, it entered the national "Double First-Class" construction sequence; it is the only Chinese Traditional Medicine International College approved by the former State Education Commission and the chair unit of WFCMS Education Guidance Committee. The school has Jinghai Tuangbo Campus.


Anhui University of Chinese Medicine

Anhui University of TCM was formerly the Anhui Provincial TCM Training Class founded in 1952. In 1959, the Anhui Provincial Government approved the establishment of Anhui Medical College of TCM. In 2011, the Anhui Academy of Chinese Medicine was established. In 2013, the Ministry of Education approved the renaming to Anhui University of TCM. In 2014, it was approved as a provincial high-level university construction unit with local characteristics. In 2023, it was included in Anhui Province's "Double First-Class" creation key universities. The school is a national TCM clinical research base, national TCM international cooperation base, doctoral authorization unit, and master's recommendation exemption unit. The school has Shaoquan Lake, Meishan Road, Shihe Road campuses.


Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Liaoning University of TCM was established in 1958 as Liaoning Medical College of TCM, the only TCM higher education institution in Liaoning Province, merged from Liaoning Provincial TCM Training School (founded 1955) and Liaoning Provincial TCM Hospital (founded 1956). Approved by the Ministry of Education, renamed Liaoning University of TCM in 2006; in 2013, added "Liaoning Academy of Chinese Medicine"

Heilongjiang University of TCM was founded in 1954, and after 70 years of development, it has become a higher TCM institution with high teaching, research, and medical levels, with certain influence domestically and internationally. Yunnan University of Chinese Medicine

Yunnan University of TCM is co-built by Yunnan Provincial Government and National Administration of TCM, the earliest university for ethnic medicine talent cultivation, pioneering TCM higher education overseas schooling, and the only TCM undergraduate institution in Yunnan. The predecessor was Yunnan Medical College of TCM, founded in 1960. In May 1960, founded on Yunnan Provincial TCM School, the second batch of national TCM undergraduate colleges, Wu Peheng appointed first president. Guangxi University of TCM's foundation is the Guangxi Provincial Nanning District Pharmaceutical Research Institute founded in 1934; founded in 1956, renamed Guangxi TCM Specialized School in 1958, upgraded to Guangxi Medical College of TCM in 1964, Nanning Medical Specialized School merged in 1970, renamed Guangxi University of TCM in March 2012 by Ministry of Education, co-built by National Administration of TCM and Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.


Fujian University of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Fujian University of TCM was founded in 1958, one of the earliest TCM higher education institutions in China, selected twice as a Fujian key construction university, Fujian "Double First-Class" construction university, co-built by Fujian Provincial Government and National Administration of TCM. The school has 13 colleges/departments, 2 research institutes; 2 postdoctoral stations in TCM and integrated Chinese-Western medicine; disciplines in TCM and integrated medicine.

Hubei University of Chinese Medicine

Hubei is Shennong's hometown, Li Shizhen's birthplace, an important origin of TCM culture. Hubei University of TCM was founded in 1958, predecessor the Hubei Provincial TCM Training School established in 1954. In 2003, Hubei Medical College of TCM merged with Hubei Pharmaceutical Inspection Specialized School to form new Hubei Medical College of TCM; renamed Hubei University of TCM in March 2010. Co-built by Hubei Provincial Government and National Administration of TCM, one of China's earliest TCM undergraduate and graduate education institutions, excellent in Ministry of Education undergraduate teaching assessment.


Hunan University of Chinese Medicine

Hunan University of TCM is located in the historical cultural city Changsha, a key Hunan undergraduate construction university, one of the first national key TCM discipline universities, first to recruit PhD students, international students, and Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan students in TCM.
